My local comic shop has been going through a renovation, so to free up space, they’ve been having an amazing clearance sale and I spent $50 on seven trades which is a pretty damn good deal. Anybody local should head down to Captain Blue Hen the next couple weekends (the sale’s only active Friday-Sunday) and check out this sweet sale.

Went to the farmer’s market this past weekend and in addition to my usual pile of candy from the Amish candy store, I found a pile of old cartoon books at the flea market! Peanuts and one copy of a collection of humor cartoons about teenagers:

There’s this path that connects my neighborhood with the nearby park. I like to refer to it as the “secret path,” but it’s not actually all that hidden. In fact, just recently the state put up an official park path sign at one entrance. You could hardly call it a hiking path, though, seeing as how the majority of the path is large gravel (as you can see I failed to interpret in the first panel) and is still mostly intended for industrial vehicle passage to reach the power station just inside my ‘hood.
The first panel was inked with a Prismacolor brush-pen. And I’m never going to use that pen ever again. Absolutely little-to-no variation when I use it. The second and third panels were inked with my old standard brush-pen, the Kuretake Fudegokochi. I love that pen. It’s very reliable. And feels good for a heavy-handed guy like me.
